The Connection
The SX-690 can be networked with one another directly without the need of a multiport controller to the PC however each SX-690 can be controlled directly from the PC. The SX-690 can also be connected via modem to the PC. By establishing networks with PCs using Towa Interact Front Desk Software and Sentinel Back Office Software, which has been developed in South Africa by ourselves the SX-690 becomes a powerful POS terminal for larger organizations.

The Connection The ML-790 can be networked with one another directly to the PC via standard LAN . The ML-790 can also be connected to the PC via standard FTP protocol which makes this product an on line tool which allows for your back office Inventory to be immediately updated directly at the end of a transaction. What is even more important is that the data is also stored on a compact flash disk in the ML-790 . This means that the PC could be offline for a number of reasons however the ML-790 will store all this data for upload when the PC is re-installed. By establishing networks with PCs using Towa Interact Front Desk Software and Sentinel Back Office Software, which has been developed in South Africa by ourselves the ML-790 becomes a powerful POS terminal for larger organizations.
We have also integrated with Nomad to provide for the sale of Airtime and for the use of debit and credit cards to be used on the ML-790
